This Castello di Meleto wedding basically made me want to move to Italy to be a full-time Tuscany wedding photographer!
Yafit and Collin rented out the entire Meleto Castle in Tuscany for the weekend to celebrate their wedding. They had full access to the gorgeous Meleto castle surrounded by beautiful classic Tuscan landscapes and a vineyard. It was definitely a dream destination wedding! One of the best parts for Collin and Yafit was spending the entire weekend with all their friends and family who stayed at the castle with them.
We started the day off in the main castle with Yafit and their bridal party getting ready in rooms that looked like they belonged in a museum. We got in a quick first look with a few portraits before the ceremony. Yafit made such a beautiful, glamorous bride in her sparkly fitted dress by Sottero and Midgley. Their ceremony took place in a perfect shady spot on top of a hill overlooking the castle in the distance. After a few more portraits around the grounds they joined their guests for the cocktail reception which featured live music and local wine.
The outdoor reception was one of my favorite parts of the day!
The harvest tables were set up right next to the Meleto Castle with views of the Tuscan countryside. It was the most romantic reception, with lots of greenery, candles, and golden string lights.
Can’t wait to be a Tuscany wedding photographer for another day! If any future brides are considering a Tuscany destination wedding, or the Castello di Meleto specifically, my advice would be to go for it! It’s a truly magical and unforgettable way to start your lives together!
