Cassandra and Andrew Windermere House wedding in Muskoka is one of my favourites ever!
This Windermere House wedding was everything a wedding photographer could ask for. First of all, the Windermere House is a perfect place to get married! It’s a cute little hotel and restaurant located right on the shores of Lake Rosseau in Muskoka. This was also one of the most stylish weddings i’ve photographed. Check out the groomsmen’s mismatched suits, and the gorgeous floral designs! Plus they hired two sets of indie musicians to play at their ceremony and reception.
But more important, Andrew and Cassandra are such a kind, genuine, fun-loving couple. It also doesn’t hurt that they’re super photogenic! Cassandra was one of the few brides i’ve worked with who wasn’t the least bit nervous before the ceremony. She was just completely happy and excited to be getting married. She and her bridesmaids started the day off getting ready in a beautiful bridal suite at the Windermere House, with stunning views of the lake.

The ceremony took place on the front lawn of the Windermere House overlooking the beautiful backdrop of the lake. It was a gorgeous sunny summer day, and the flowers were in full bloom! After a brief cocktail reception on the lawn, I was able to steal Cassandra and Andrew away for some photos down by the lake as the late evening sun began to set.
The evening featured a delicious three course dinner catered by the Windermere House’s Oliver and Bonacini restaurant, some short but hilarious speeches. The night ended with a low-key mix of dancing and relaxing on the patio under the full moon.
